It was just a well-suited match for a couple of nights in London, great for the money. The cold water in the bathroom was refreshing after a hectic day exploring the city. Make sure to check the room amenities beforehand.

We had such a good time staying here! The late-night shop out front was super convenient, and the coffee stand was lovely for breakfast. The room was compact but cozy, just perfect for us.

The location near Russell Square provides easy access to the Underground, making travel across the city straightforward. The unique retro theme adds a quirky charm that sets this place apart.
Getting in felt like a gamble. not having staff available when needed was frustrating. Shower temperatures fluctuated widely, leaving me without hot water on the last few days—definitely not ideal for a morning routine. the slick shower floor feels unsafe. some traction decals would prevent potential injuries. Lastly, lugging my bags up the many stairs wasn't the best way to start my stay, even if it's expected in some budget spots.

Great location and solid wifi!
I stayed for 3 nights in a double room with a private bathroom. The spot is super convenient, really close to the tube. Wifi worked well, which was a plus for me. The breakfast options weren’t the best though, just basic stuff. decent stay.

decent stay, but room for improvement
The retro bathroom added character to the room, creating a unique vibe. The location was incredibly convenient for accessing nearby attractions.
The uneven floor in the bedroom raised some concerns about safety.

would definitely go back
Location was perfect, right next to the subway. The room had a private bathroom, was clean, and comfy. Free toiletries, towels, and a hairdryer were provided. Really appreciated the electric kettle and microwave for late-night snacks. Super friendly caretaker added a nice touch to the overall vibe.

Great spot near the underground, perfect for late-night snacks from the shop outside. Our room was cozy, but we barely stayed in!
Felt like a true getaway, no complains at all.

I stayed for a week while exploring the museums and attractions nearby. The location was fantastic, close to the British Museum and public transport options, making it easy to get around the city. the shower was a significant downside. it alternated between freezing and scalding, which made my mornings quite unpleasant. The mattress could have been more comfortable as well.

A Handy Spot with Cozy Charm
While the room was compact, the quaint atmosphere made it a unique stay. Enjoyed a delicious sausage roll from the onsite café. Just be prepared for the steep stairs, and consider packing light for ease. Perfectly located for exploring nearby attractions!

An Unforgettably Unpleasant Experience
During my three-night stay, I struggled without any staff assistance, and the cold shower only added to my discomfort. The room was freezing, with thin blankets that offered little warmth.
